Mark as Useful Called at least 10 times and say I owe a loan, that I never took out. They say a lawsuit has been filed against my ss#. I have told them not to call my number any more so they hang up and call my job. I have informed them that I know this is a scam and I will take legal action against them if they continue to harass me.

Mark as Useful The number called literally about 20 times. It's not my phone or my house so I didn't answer at first, but I eventually got fed up. The woman on the other end didn't introduce herself, only asked for the homeowner. I said he wasn't home. She asked when would be a good time to call again. I said I didn't know when he'd be back. The incessant calls stopped after that.
